On October, 2016, the storm known as Lawin to the Philippines and Haima to the rest of the world became the fifth super typhoon of 2016, with sustained winds of 160 mph. One day later, it slammed into northern Luzon as the equivalent of a Category 4 hurricane. Unfortunately, the Agta tribes were hit by it...
Agta Aid sent £350 to help the Agta... This money will be used to buy supplies (since the sea is not good for diving). Sayed Mostafavi is helping us with his airplane!!!
Thank you Mostafavi!

During two days, scientists and members of Philippines Government
discussed about policies for Hunter Gatherers protection.
Agta Aid presented its early projects and the mobile teacher project.
It was a great opportunity to meet Leonora, Marilyn (from COSeL) and Juliete (NCIP)...

It was so exciting to put all these people, who are so important for Agta Aid, together!!! We missed Miss Hudemann... she is now in New York...

On March 2016, Whitehill Junior School, donated £740 to our project! Every year, whitehill sponsors a charity through an hour-long reading event. This year, they decided to help Agta-aid. We would like to thank Mr Mills and Mrs Beresford for all the support and of corse all of the parents, pupils and teachers who contributed in this generous donation.
We are happy to say that Natalia Bamberg, a Brazilian painter is helping us by illustrating some of our Agta stories... the first story, "The Wisest Creature of the Forest" is already illustrated! Thank you Natalia... I will not tell anyone that it is the monkey...
Natalia and her daughter Laura, also helped us
to organize talks and fundraise money through local
schools in Brazil...
On Monday, 10Th February 2014, the Agta Aid Team traveled to BirdLife International in Cambridge , to do a presentation about what we have been doing.
It was a long journey, but I had lots of fun and I'm guessing the others did as well.
It was great and I will never forget it...
Thanks for reading, and remember... Keep donating!

On the 18th March, 2014, Philip had a great Meeting with COSeL at LPU (Lyceum of the Philippines University). COSeL experts created educational programmes for Indigenous Peoples using their own language... Amazing!!!
COSeL also build schools according to the Indigenous People's needs... and few years ago, they built a School for the Agtas of Quirino (a region in the other side of Sierra Madre, opposite to Diago).
Philip presented Agta Aid project to them, and our interest in empowering the Agta of Diago...
They asked Philip to help checking if the Agtas of Quirino speak the same Language as the Agtas of Diago. To do it, COSeL gave him an amazing educational material to be tested in Diago...
Thank you COSeL!!!!! We were very lucky to meet you....
